About Restoring the Foundations Ministry
We are uniquely designed by God and His ultimate desire is that we experience “radiant” living NOW. Unfortunately, we live in a world full of hurt and pain, often beginning even as early as birth.
Restoring the Foundations ministry, a Christian nonprofit in North Carolina, applies an integrated approach to bring healing and wholeness to broken places in our lives. While our stories may be different, there are four core areas that impact us, leading to live unfilled and broken lives. In recognizing and addressing these problem areas, we apply foundational truths to bring restoration and freedom. The four problem areas include:
GENERATIONAL SINS – When we are born in a family, we inherit spiritual traits, just as we inherit physical traits. The “Sins of the Fathers” ministry session addresses the inner tendency to sin. During this ministry session we address the generational sins that come into our lives through our family line.
BELIEF SYSTEM – Ungodly beliefs are formed out of painful situations in life. During this session we address ungodly beliefs about God, other people and ourselves. We begin the process of renewing our minds by replacing the ungodly beliefs with godly beliefs.
LIFE’S HURTS – During this session, the invisible wounds that are created from painful experiences in life are exposed. Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, Jesus heals the invisible hurts and wounds.
DEMONIC OPPRESSION – There is an assault, bondage, and an oppression that comes from our enemy, the devil, that can hold us back from walking in freedom and reaching our God-given destiny. The demonic strongholds that once had legal rights are removed in the final session because of the work done in the first three sessions.
